The story centers on an artist, Om (Shahrukh Khan), who grows up in the seventies, meets the love of his life (Deepika Padukone) and shortly thereafter suffers an untimely demise. He is immediately reincarnated and the story flash-forwards to the present day. Haunted by the memories of his past life and love, he attempts to not only solve the mystery of his death, but also reunite with the love of his past life. The problem is that she is now much older than him and does not believe that he is the reincarnation of the man she once loved.

4. sawanI like sharukh khan very much… but the concept of this story ‘om shanti om’ is not real at all… the term ‘reincarnation’ is meaningless as we all know that there is only ONE LIFE… But since its a reel not real movie i will watch it coz of sharukh alone!!.. Hope this will become huge hit as Chak de -India..

What story is this ???. Living in IT world, but nothing in the Film Industry has changed. Doubt if it may run for 25 days, but the songs are good, which is a satisfaction for Sharuk lovers and the film makers.
