Madhur Bhandarkar has done it again. From “Jail”, one expected a gritty, hard-hitting and thought-provoking drama. Bhandarkar delivers all this and lots more.

The plot of the flick revolves around the friendship and ambition of two persons -Mannu (Salman Khan) and Arjun (Ajay Devgn). They are childhood friends, related to each other through their music loving families. However, other than music, Mannu and Arjun are as different as cheese and chalk.

If you happen to be a fan of ‘Aladin’, then give its movie adaptation a royal miss, as it’s a sheer assault on audience’s mind and pocket. For a fairytale with a genie, a magic carpet, a typical poor boy-rich girl love story and a conniving evil-doer.

So the Rs100 crore film is out. And it’s no better than a second-rung Hollywood action flick. The crores have gone in to create some visual wizardry and thrilling stunts under water.

‘Main’ is Sohail Khan and Salman Khan alternatively, and ‘Mrs Khanna’ is, of course, Kareena Kapoor. Raina (Kareena Kapoor) is married to Samir (Salman Khan), but is wooed by Akash (Sohail Khan).
