Aishwarya Rai and Abhisek BachchanOn her recent visit to New Delhi, Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai was asked a question that upset her visibly.

After the premiere of Drona last week in Mumbai, Ash flew to Delhi to inaugurate a Longines boutique in Ambience Mall, Gurgaon. She is the brand ambassador of Swiss watch brand Longines.

It was during this event a reporter asked Ash about her friction with Shahrukh Khan , her co-star in Devdaas .

It can be recalled that Ash was supposed to be SRK’s heroine in Chalte Chalte but was dropped from the project after Salman Khan (her then boyfriend) barged on the sets and created a scene. Since then Ash and SRK haven’t been on talking terms. But when SRK posed happily with Ash at the premiere of ‘Drona’ last week, it was clear that friction between them was a thing of the past.

So when Ash was asked this question about her equation with SRK by a reporter in Delhi, she dismissed it as something created by media.

“You people (media) create it, and then you print it or put it on prime time. There are already enough saas bahu serials on tv to entertain people, so there is no need for such stories,” Ash replied.

But when the adamant reporter asked again if there ever was a friction between her and SRK, Ash lost her cool and promptly retorted: “How can I answer such a ridiculous question.”

Cool it Ash. Take it easy.
