Akshay and TwinkleIn a shocking report Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has split with wife and former actress Twinkle Khanna after 6 years of wedlock.

According to sources, Twinkle asked Akshay to get out of the house amidst reports of him cheating on her.

Though reports of tension creeping in between Akshay and Twinkle are not new, this is the first time that Twinkle has taken such an extreme step.

Akshay, who was last seen in Namaste London opposite Katrina Kaif, who was also his co-star in Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye, has been famous as a Casanova in the film fraternity.

Akshay has been, in the past, known for his string of romantic link ups with a number of actresses including Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty and Puja Batra. He tied the knot with Twinkle in January 2001.

However, even after marriage, Akshay reportedly got into a fling with Priyanka Chopra who had just split from her boy friend Aseem Merchant. The affair turned Akshay-Twinkle relationship sour which finally ended when a fuming Twinkle reportedly slapped Akshay in the lobby of a hotel in Mumbai, and warned him not to sign any film with Priyanka.

Reports say that Akshay has moved out to Mumbai’s Mariott Hotel.
