Salman Khan’s respect for the Sikh religion

Actor Akshay Kumar proved that ‘Singh is Kinng’, and now it is time for Salman to pay his tribute to the brave community in his next ‘Hereos’. Actor Salman Khan revealed that he did not shave for days and grew his moustache and beard which was one of his ways of paying respect to the holy Sikh religion.
The Sikh religion forbids smoking, and when Salman learnt about the fact the actor even gave up his smoking habit. When we asked Sallu if rumors of he giving up on smoking was true, the actor expressed, “Normally, I don’t talk about it, but it’s true that I gave up smoking during the shoot of the movie (‘Heroes’) as I believe that if you are going to respect somebody’s religion then, they will respect yours.”
Co-stars Sunny Deol, Dino Morea, Bobby Deol and Preity Zinta were so impressed with Salman’s dedication that they have started calling him ‘The True Hero’.
