Rakhi Sawant goes back to 1920

Vikram Bhatt’s 1920 will feature Rakhi Sawant in a saucy 1920s gypsy look, in an energy-packed item number. “We’re shooting an awesome item song,” says Rakhi, “In the old days, they called it a nautanki.” After a long period of struggle, the tide seems to be turning for Rakhi, as she’s now working with powerhouse filmmakers like Rakesh Roshan and Vikram Bhatt. “My days of struggle are over,” she says, “I’m doing good films now. Earlier, I had to expose a lot and wear all sorts of revealing clothes. But now, no one asks me to show skin. I can be fully clothed, if I like.”
