Television’s heartthrob Rajeev Khandelwal is all set to debut on the big screen. He will play the lead in a film titled Aamir. No Smoking director Anurag Kashyap is the creative producer of the project. What’s different about this film is it’s going to be a first for all involved with the project, from the cast to the spot boy. Also, there are no heroines opposite Rajeev and Anurag is confident the debutante will do a good job.

Rajeev’s girlfriend Aamna Sharif is also going to make her big screen debut, though she will star opposite Aftab Shivdasani. While Anurag is confident of Rajeev’s success, we wonder if the actor can claim to be as confident of his director, considering the latter’s last film flopped miserably.
