Akshay Kumar is the highest Bollywood tax payer

2007 surely seems to belong to Akshay Kumar as he has been reported as the highest Bollywood tax payer of the year.
The actor has paid a whopping Rs. 26 crores ($6.5million) this year in taxes as he has signed a couple of big budget projects.
Last year, Hrithik Roshan was the #1 tax payer with Rs. 15 crores ($3.75 million) followed by SRK at Rs. 14 crores ($3.5 million) and Akshay was far behind with only Rs. 6 crores ($1.5 million) owed in taxes.
