Sonam Kapoor v/s Deepika PadukoneEvidently debutantes Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor are already learning the ropes of the game.

They have begun taking potshots at each other. Obviously there’s no love lost between them. Recently, Deepika took a dig at Sonam at an event.

Deepika, at a press conference for a head massager product, passed the uncalled-for comment. When asked about the comparisons being made between Sonam and her, the Om Shanti Om actor said, “There should be no comparisons as I am not from Bollywood and have achieved everything on my own. Also, our movie genres are different.”

Deepika’s comment pointed towards the fact that she has made it bigger than Sonam despite not coming from a filmi background. In a subtle way, she even hinted that Sonam is in Bollywood because she Anil Kapoor’s daughter.

The bone of contention between the two actors seems to be the upcoming hero Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir has been linked to both the girls. Also, their debut films ( Om Shanti Om, Saawariya ) hit the theatres on the same day.

When contacted, Sonam refused to give full vent to her feelings. She began by saying, “It’s okay. This doesn’t rattle me. Everybody has their own destiny.”
