Sanjay Dutt sentenced to 6 years in Mumbai Blast Case

The special TADA court Tuesday sentenced actor Sanjay Dutt to six years imprisonment for his role in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.
Dutt, who was convicted under the Arms Act for illegal possession of weapons, was facing between five years and 10 years in jail.
He had spent 16 months in jail as an undertrial in 1994.
The judge said pronounced Dutt an offender and that he was present in a dinner party attended by Dawood Ibrahim.
Dutt was almost in tears when the judge pronounced the verdict.
The judge also said Dutt had committed a series of offences and that he was mature when he committed these.
The judge added that Dutt made Yusuf Nalwala commit the offence.
Dutt’s aide Russi Mulla, who helped destroy the firearms, was given a suspended sentence of one year, in view of his advanced age and behaviour under the offenders of the Probation Act. He was fined Rs 1 lakh.

“Completely Disagreed” caz “Agreed that the sentence is harsh”.

*It does matter, the one’s position in the Social Community,
*It does matter, he has admitted his mistake & already served a long term imprisonment
*It does matter, his good conduct during his trial for which he suffered over a decade
*It does matter, the local Society doesn’t treat him as a criminal, due to his good conduct during his trial of long 12 years.
*It does matter, his peaceful, courageous personality is followed as an ICON to many people around earth, disregarding he is a film star.
OR
*It doesn’t matter, the Indian Officials presume to overacting on SD, all for one single SPECIAL reason, where Officials find this trial to pursue their BLACK image, “LAW & ORDER” acts the same for everyone”.
*It doesn’t matter, Authorities Exposing their strength with a wrong EXAMPLE,
Whereas the top criminals responsible for that Mumbai blasts, are still operating terror activity Inside India.
As, the calculations in depth say, IT IS NOT AS IT SEEMS, as the Authority impose.

3. goodboyThe main offence against Dutt as reported is illegal possesion and being present in that party hosted by “D”. He has been sentenced to six years RI and no benefit under Probation of Offenders Act has been granted to him. When a defence officer Wg Cdr Mander was convicted by a GCM of which the Judge Advocate was then Wg Cdr TP Hariprasad (tphariprasad@yahoo.com) for murder of a sepoy and sentenced to 2 years RI the officer almost spent his entire sentence outside as the same was suspended by the court where he appealed against it. Not commenting on that case per se, I would only like to ask , if that a guy who committed murder and was duly convicted for it, could run most of his sentence from outside the jail, then why not Sanju Baba.
