The Federal Censor Board of Pakistan has lifted the ban on Indian actors and Indian films. Any Indian film with a Pakistani co-producer or actor shot outside India can now be released in Pakistan. Mahesh Bhatt’s Awarapan and Sunny Deol starrer Kaafila will release in Pakistan this month. Bhatt said releasing the film in Pakistan means collecting revenue from them and giving them profits. “That will help do business on equality basis,” Bhatt said.

1. Taufiq AhmadPakistan imposed ban on indian films in 1965. After this, Pakistan have allowed 6 indian films in Pakistani cinemas like: Noor Jehan, Kashish, Mughal-e-Azam, Taj Mahal, Awarapan and Kaafila. Now we are waiting when any Pakistani film will be released in India? It is learnt that a Pakistani film ‘Aek Larki Panjaban’ will be released in Indian cinemas inspite of the fact that it has already been cesorred there. Taufiq Ahmad, Karachi
