I have a piece of advise for all of HR’s fans. Please ask yourself honestly if you are really a
fan or if you are a wannabe just because the guy or girl next door is a fan.
When I was in school I remember I would say I am a fan of someone just because everyone around me would say so and I didn’t want to be left behind.
Here is my honest opinion about HR. He is a talented singer no doubt about that. He has a high pitch (not everyone possesses that gift) but he also has this attitude problem. If you watch some of his shows on cable TV you would know that he lays too much emphasis on cap wearing. He was a judge once in a music contest and he disqualified a good singer just because the poor guy was not wearing a cap. He said that openly “Topi kyon nahi penhi”? And then his comments about RD, Mukesh etc which brought him a shower of wrath from Asha B shows that he does have a bit of arrogance which is normal when you hit success overnight, but he also needs to mature
quickly because in this cutthroat industry if you
don’t play your cards right, soon you will be history. Reminds me of what happened to Ilayaraja, Prabhu Deva, Kumar Shanu and a few others.
