Soha Ali Khan recently launched new colours for the paint brand she endorses. While it was a fun event, the actress seemed aloof for reasons unknown. Perhaps she was daunted by the series of Saif-Kareena related questions coming her way.

Saif Ali Khan proved it with films like Tara Rum Pum and Salaam Namastey: He is a competent solo lead. Nevertheless, the Chotey Nawab isn’t past the phase of signing multi-starrers. Perhaps he doesn’t realize that solo lead films are what superstars are made of. “I don’t think that’s true,” counters Saif. “I never look at a film as a multi-starrer or solo lead project. For me, an interesting script and good role matters.”

With two films behind her, Neetu Chandra has made it in Bollywood. And she did it without a godfather. The airhostess from Garam Masala and kathiawadi girl from Traffic Signal had a slow 2007. But the coming months will see her in a number of movies. “I am doing four this year,” she says.

Suniel Shetty’s production Mission Istanbul is being touted as one of 2008’s most anticipated releases. Shot at exotic locations, it boasts a star cast similar to that of Shootout At Lokhandwala., including Vivek Oberoi, Zayed Khan and Shabbir Ahluwalia. Abhishek Bachchan is also to do a cameo in the film supposedly based on journalism and terrorism.

Zayed Khan is on an all-time high. The beaming father talks about son Zidane irrespective of the occasion. At a recent event, he went on and on about the newest member of the Khan clan.

Usually somewhat reserved in public, Karisma was in a different mood, answering all questions. She discussed plans of a comeback to Bollywood, saying, “I loved Madhuri’s comeback, Aaja Nachle. It was awesome. I would also love to do a film, although I need to find that special script and director in order to leave behind my home and daughter.”

After 2007’s acclaimed hit Bheja Fry, its entire team has come up with yet another comedy. While Vinay Pathak played the lead in the first film, Mithya will have his best buddy Ranvir Shorey in the lead. On the unusual title of the film, Ranvir said, “Mithya means that what is not true.
