Drona and Kidnap fails at box office

Last Friday wouldn’t have been so convincing for film buffs of Bollywood. Yup! None of big releases did fetch good response across the box-office. Sanjay Dutt, Imran Khan and Minissha Lamba starrer Kidnap and Abhishek Bachchan’s Drona had hit the screens on October 2 and results after long weekend states that both have flunked at box office.
Indeed, producers were so electrified getting their flicks promoted to greater extent at pre-release and probably that would have led to good opening. Hitting screens on Oct 2, Kidnap had collections of Rs 15.25 Crores during 4-day weekend. Well, producers of Drona were much wretched as it made half the collection amount of Kidnap. Alone, in India, reports have stated that Drona had pocketed collections of just Rs. 8Crores. And finally today, collections for both the flicks have abruptly devolved to lower extent…
Nevertheless, Kidnap seems to have witnessed moderate results overhaul since Drona didn’t release universally.

1. lallii dont understand that the actors have lost their sense of analyising things of which movie is to what standard of their greed of earning money and fame leads them to work in movies like drona. what a **** it was abhishek is not fit to work in movies he is only fit to get importance because of his dad and wife. sorry abhi u can never be compared to mr. big b cos he has a class of his own and ur in a minus figure.
2. navneet sharmahey abhishek,after seeing ur movie Drona i will suggest you to stop acting in movies.DRONA is a complete washout,a terrible mistake commited by the whole crew involved in making DRONA.
3. GI never understand when ppl make terrible comments like actors should stop making movies or they’re ‘not fit’ to work in movies after seeing one movie of the actor that they didnt like. By no means am I a fan of Abhiskek bachan, in fact he’s pretty low on my list of actors, but I have the sense to remember that he’s also made movies like sarkar, and sarkar raj, or bluffmaster which were absolute gems in my opinion. Everyone has the right to do their line of work, its personal opinion if one likes it or not. And when it comes to drona, yea i agree it lacked some structure and plot, but i was just glad to see indian cinema exploring new fields…so cut the guys some slack, bollywood doesnt have much experience in mythological thrillers, im sure they’ll get better, and weather one likes it or not, movies like drona will have their part as practice when bollywood finally does make their own thriller comparable to Harry Potter.
4. nehayes abhishek should stop acting he is getting movies because og his father drona is a horrible movie
5. raajabshishek needs to mature at a personal level before making any more movies ….. the guy is just not serious ……
6. ZaraAbishek needs to stop making movies, he cant even act or dance ! He doesent really seem to suit this role of acting. He hasnt got the looks and talent like some actors. such as salman sallu and aamir who are awesome ! he only seems to do be in the film industry as hes dad is a top actor and his wife. My 3 uncles could even do a better job then him !/ come on abishek quit acting. it doesent suit you man with top actors like priyanka. i think they should have put john abraham or salman in his place.
7. SanjeAbhishek should get sued in court in a lawsuit to help pay back everyone who watched the movie,… that should help bring the total income of Drona to the negative amount it deserves,… seriously,… the few crores it made is only because people didnt know any better and wanted to give it a chance,…
Personally Im happy that he had a stinker of a movie, simply because I think he’s the ugliest dog in bollywood,.. its about time he had the opportunity to show how bad, unfavoured, and ugly he can be, to many other people who SOMEHOW, think he’s not that bad, or even those psychos who think he could get a better girl than aish,… sympathising with him,…lol
Gollum’s got more style and appeal.
