‘Om Shanti Om’ already breaking records

Farah Khan ’s Om Shanti Om that stars Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the lead has become a much sought after film.
Baba Films, production and distribution company, has offered a record Rs 11 crore for the rights to the Mumbai Circuit, easily surpassing the highest amount ever paid for the territory of Rs 8.5 crore for Jaaneman .
SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment has reportedly sold the world rights for the film to Eros International for between Rs 72-75 crore.
Explaining their readiness to shell out the big bucks for the film, Baba Films executive director, Rakesh Upadhyay, says, “The film is releasing during the Diwali period when we can get a clear run due to vacations. Farah Khan had earlier had a huge commercial success with Main Hoon Na . We are confident of the film’s success at the box-office.”

These songs are really Good!. All credit goes to Kingkhan alone. Now I understand why Sharukh initially does not like the tunes composed by A R Rahman for this movie. Sharukh is king and he sees that everything should be perfect. After Chak de India!, I think its time to promote Sharukh from king to shehanshah! and to demote shehanshah to king. After successive flops of Jhoom barabar Jhoom and Aag… Amitabh should think again his status in Bollywood!. There is no doubt that King khan has reserved the ticket for getting best actor award this year for Chak De India!!. And no one can compete sharukh this year atleast coz there are some actors like hrithik who are like bangladesh cricket team who can win matches with Australia only on their day and not all games!. So you cant compare Hrithik with Sharukh khan!!. Sharukh has got more awards than anyone else in the Industry!. This year the only movie which can compete chak de india is Again Shrakuh khan movie ‘OM SHANTI OM’!!!. But I feel Shrukh will get award for Chak de India- for the emotions he expressed in this movie and ofcourse how can we forget the powerful dialogues!.

18. anonoymouspls dont compare sharukh’s body to hrithiks and insult hrithik roshan. Hirthik has a much better body and physique and is more talented. i am never goin to watch om shanti om, because i know sharukh khan is a racist and enjoys insulting people with a darker skin clolour by having dum ads such as emani fair and handsome.He used to be my idol but now i lost all my respect for him. i pray to god that this movie fails so badly that his reputation goes down to the gutters.

AnonymousSandeep & Ajay, what AB had done in his 37 years SRK has achieved it in half of that, As for Yash and Karan, Yash has directed BigB and SmallB and the result were big flops, they came back to SRK and you can see the result in Chak de, Regarding Hrithik defnetly he has a great body but hear we are talking about acting and a big hit entertaining movie and in that SRK rules. No Doubt…!!!!!!

He is looking like a monkey just out of woods. He is a big publicity monger. Devadas is a big testimony of his talent as his is the only Devada where the two heroins got better recognition than the hero. Only big banners, good music, talented heroins and good scripts have given him star status. Even today he can not lift a bad movie with his presence (which Amitabh used to do) The only appreciable feature is SRK is very intelligent in choosing his movies (as he knows his limitations).
