John Abraham wants to produce only quality movies
Mumbai: Actor, now turned producer, John Abraham says that instead of aiming at making films which land up straight into the 100 crore club, he likes to produce only quality films. He produced films like “Vicki Donor” and also “Madras Café” where he himself was also a part of the casting, and both the films were received very well by the audience.
Its not 100 crore club that matters to him, but quality is what matters to him the most. He is already shooting for his next home production titled “Banana” and was in Jamshedpur recently for 2 days for shooting. Debutant director Sajid Ali is a part of the film, said the 40 years old handsome hunk. However, he chose not to reveal anything related to the storyline of the film, but mentioned that the film will be made keeping in mind all age groups.
John himself would be starring in this movie “Banana”. He said that the film would be in the theatres by next year December. John started as a model, and did a number of advertisements before getting the big Bollywood break in 2003 film “Jism”. Though after the debut movie, a couple of movies of him did not fare well, but then again in 2004 he rocked the whole nation with “Dhoom” where he played the anti-hero role.
