Ganesh Venkatraman ready for his big break in Bollywood
Chennai: Ganesh Venkatraman, is still awaiting his big break in Bollywood. But the engineer who is now a filmstar is already popular down south and has worked with stars like Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan. He is ready to set his feet in Bollywood with the Hindi remake of “Polladhavan”, a Tamil film which had Dhanush in the lead.
Ganesh is debuting in Bollywood with “Guns of Banaras”. He was an electronic engineer before he started his career as an actor. He has worked with several Southern stars like Amit ji, Kamal Haasan, Mohan Lal, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna. Ganesh says he began working in a software company as an engineer as he was a brilliant student but then he participated in Gladrags Manhunt modeling competition and won it and that changed the course of his life.
He began modeling and also worked in the firm. After a year, he left the job and enrolled himself in an acting school. His first break was in a tv serial named “Antariksha”. He also did the first 3D serial in India named “Mayavi”. He also got a chance to work with Kamal Haasan in the Tamil-Telegu remake of “A Wednesday”. He also worked with Amitabh and Mohan Lal in “Kandahar” which is a Malayalam movie. He was Mr Bachchan’s son in the movie.
