Amit Sadh in Onir’s adaptation of Hamlet
Mumbai: Many bollywood filmmakers are making film adaptations of Shakespearean dramas and work. And Onir’s movie “Veda” which is basically a film adaptation of “Hamlet” will be on the floor soon. Onir has already finalized the casting of the movie and it is going to hit the floors next year.
The role of Rhiyad in the movie would be played by Amit Sadh of “Kai Po Che” fame. However they did not do the paper work yet as Onir is not in the country right now and Amit is also busy with films. “Hamlet” is one of the best work of Shakespeare and is also the longest drama.
The film “Veda” is about a Muslim guy and Hindu girl’s love story and is set in London and also in Lucknow. Amit rose to fame with his stint in “Kyun Hota Hai Pyarr”. He was also a contestant in the reality show Big Boss. He even dated actress and item girl Neeru Bajwa for sometime but then broke off. He was also a part of “Durgesh Nandinii” where he played the role of a lawyer named Kshitij. He debuted in the film industry with “Kai Po Che” where he played the role of Omakar Shastri.
