Shooting of Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan comes to an end!
Chennai: Shooting of Rajinikanth’s “Kochadaiyaan” has come to an end ultimately, with the fighting scene of him with Deepika Padukone which was shot in London and then a song sequence composed by A.R Rahman. Legions of Rajini’s admirers and well wishers can now breathe a sigh of relief as the ailing superstar could finally wrap up the shoot of the much awaited flick.
It is actually a historical drama which is produced jointly by Eros and Rajini’s daughter Soundarya. The story is written by K S Ravikumar. The film was scheduled to wrap up by August 2012 but due to the superstar’s prolonged illness, the deadline was missed. Ravikumar says that the film got too late to be shot as they had to put in a lot of work than they thought before. They will be working on the dubbing part right now.
Ravikumar also added that even though the star’s health is fragile, the action scenes were not watered down. The scenes were shot indoors. The audience will see the superstar fit and fab as always! And one of the high points of the movie, is the fighting sequence of Rajini and Deepika according to the writer. It is a stunning sequence, Ravikumar added.
