Rajinikanth in ‘Oh My God’ remake?
Mumbai: South Indian Superstar Rajinikanth is busy with his prestigious venture ‘Kochadiyan’ featuring Deepika Padukone under the direction of his daughter Soundarya Rajanikanth. According to latest information sources reveal that Rajanikanth will be starring in the remake of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Oh My God’ in Telugu and Tamil.
Sources say that South Indian filmmaker, Krishna Prasad has shown his interest in bagging the remake rights of the film. He is well known and very close to choreographer duo Rekha and Chinni Prakash who have done a few songs in OMG! The choreographers admitted that Prasad was in Mumbai and had keen interest in remaking the movie in Tamil. They also mentioned that the meeting turned out successful.
Krishna Prasad according to sources showed interest in casting Dhanush of ‘Kolaveri-Di’ fame, and if everything goes on well he may reprise the role Paresh Rawal, in the project.’Oh My God’ is a comedy film that revolves around an antique store keeper and atheist – Paresh Rawal, who drags Lord Krishna – Akshay Kumar, into court on a legal case.If everything falls in the right place soon Rajinikanth will be seen playing the role as a Lord Krishna in this remake venture.
