Salman Khan’s wax statue moves to New York
London: Madame Tussauds museum is already having wax figures of Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and the latest to join the league of superstars at Madame Tussauds is Salman Khan. Sallu bhai’s wax statue will be unveiled at Madame Tussauds Museum in New York on 2nd of August.
Sallu miya is undoubtedly a bankable star of Bollywood who debuted in 1989 with “Maine Pyaar Kiya”. His film “Bodyguard” is the second highest grossing Bollywood movie of all times. And in 2004 he was in the seventh position in the contest of best looking men of the world held by the People Magazine.
And the manager of Madame Tussauds Museum, Bret Pidgeon said Salman is one the most recognizable stars of Bollywood and added Bollywood is one of the most exciting categories in entertainment. And the Bollywood Zone in the New York Madame Tussauds Museum is a full interactive zone, brightly colored with a statue of Taj Mahal and an area for photos where visitors can take their pictures with their favourite celebs’ statues. This really recreates the Bollywood’s filmi experience. And the museum authorities are planning for expansion of the Bollywood zone to include other promising Bollywood stars.
