Riteish Deshmukh wants to do different genre of Movies
Mumbai: Riteish Deshmukh has done enough of comedies, and he wants a break now. The actor recently expressed his monotony in doing the same comedy flicks again and again. Though Riteish’s fans love him in such funny avatars, but Riteish wants to come out of his comfort zone. Doing comedy sequels for a long time has exhausted Riteish.
The actor has done films like “Double Dhamaal”, “Houseful 2″, Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum” and “Grand Masti”; all of these are sequels. By acting in sequels, Riteish feels he is acting his own part from the part 1. There is no new drama, except new sequences being added in the films. Therefore just for a change he went on to do films like “Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya”, “Aladdin”, “Rann”.
Riteish is presently acting in only one more comedy sequel that is sequel of “Masti” named “Grand Masti” and after this Riteish will try his hands on some different films. Riteish is all set to try on a different genre of films, that is crime thrillers. He has chosen two scripts and will be working on it from next year, one is a thriller other a family drama. But Riteish added that he wont be bidding goodbye to comedies, and may do some in the near future.
