Ek Tha TigerMumbai: A popular joke doing its rounds on Twitter compares Salman Khan’s “Ek Tha Tiger” to be released on August with Spider-man and Batman. However the much awaited film of Sallu bhai which will release next month on Eid has got itself involved in another controversy. Vikram Vashishtha has sent a legal notice to the makers of ETT, Yashraj Films to hold a special screening of the flick. He is the nephew of the late spy Ravindra Kaushik. The copies of the notice have also been sent to the Central Board of Film Certification and also to Film & TV Producers Guild and Film Federation India.

Vashishtha gave details and the reason behind his steps in an interview to the media saying Kaushik was working with RAW and went to Lucknow to attend a meeting where officers were impressed with his performances. He was then sent to Pakistan for a secret mission.

So Vashishtha’s allegations are that the promos of ETT bear a striking resemblance to Kaushik’s experience when he was in Pakistan, therefore Kaushik’s family has taken legal aid to have a look at the script of the film or watch the film before it releases worldwide. Vashishtha’s mother Shashi ji is Kaushik’s only sister, therefore according to the lawyer of Vashishtha, he is having full rights to claim a special screening of the film.
