Why is RGV angry with Sanjay Dutt and Dharam Oberoi?
Mumbai: After the debacle of “Department”, RGV found a new man to blame all fault on. He has been blaming it all on Sanjay Dutt. During the shoot of the film, the actor and Ram Gopal Varma had developed some differences and now RGV says he had the worst time working with the actor. The flick was panned by critics. It released this month on 18th and had Sanjay Dutt, Amitabh Bachchan and also Rana Dagubbati in lead roles while Abhimanyu Singh and Anjana Sukhani played important roles in the movie. The film was made with 30 crores, while it managed to garner only 7 crore at box office.
But Varma says that he does not mind about the poor performance of “Department” infact he is glad with the fact that he wont ever have to see Sanjay Dutt and the C.E.O of Dutt’s production house Dharam Oberoi ever. Both the actor and the director had denied that they were at loggerheads earlier in press meets, but now its obvious from Varma’s twitter post. RGV says Sanju Baba forced him to change screenplay as well as to take Kangana Ranaut out of the film.
Varma even said that if people still think that RGV is the one who is the main culprit for failure of the film, we should wait and watch “Zilla Ghaziabad” where RGV did everything as was asked by the film makers.
