Ayushmann Khurrana – Bollywood is more open to new faces now
Mumbai: Former television jockey and anchor, now turned into a successful actor, Ayushmann Khurrana had a very modest start. MTV Roadies catapulted Ayushmann to fame, and after that he went on to anchor shows like “India’s Got Talent”, “Music Ka Maha Muqqabla”. Recently he has debuted in “Vicky Donor” which was produced by John Abraham.
When in an interview he was quizzed whether he loves the female attention he is getting post success of his film, he says he was popular since his college days. He mainly focuses on his work, and not to win hearts of ladies only. He says his film was a revolutionary one, based on a totally new theme – sperm donation. Bollywood is accepting new talents with wide open arms, and also new thoughts, says Ayushmann. He always wanted to sing in his film, and the opportunity came with “Pani Da Rang” in “Vicky Donor” where he sung himself.
Though he wrote and sang songs before too, but he was always waiting for the perfect song for himself. He loves writing poetry anywhere anytime. And for all the female fans of Ayushmann there is a bad news. Ayushmann is already taken away by his long time girlfriend Tahira. They have tied the knot a year back.
