Madhuri Dixit’s dance cant be compared with today’s actresses: Remo D’Souza
Mumbai: Dance India Dance judge and the famous Indian hip hop maestro and choreographer Remo D’Souza has commenced shoot for his second and India’s first ever dance film ‘ABCD (Anybody can dance)’. The film is going to be shot in 3D and will be having Prabhu Deva, Ganesh Acharya and Lauren Gottlieb in the lead roles. American dancer Lauren has already been featured in films like ‘Disaster movie’, ‘Bring it on: Fight to finish’ and ‘Hannah Montana’ and has quite a experience of doing dance films.
But this time it would be a little difficult for her as Hindi is a completely unknown language to her. Remo spoke for the upcoming film and he has asked Lauren to watch the Bollywood actress closely in their films to get a close hang on the accent and the quotes of Hindi languages used in Bollywood films.
Lauren is currently taking Hindi classes and has been asked by Remo to go through the songs featuring Kareena, Priyanka and Katrina to have a close watch on the details of Hindi film dancing. When asked about Madhuri, Remo mentioned her as the Goddess of dancing. He said that neither Madhuri nor Sridevi can be compared to the present Bollywood actress as far as dancing is concerned.
