Joy Mukherjee dead at 73
Mumbai: Mumbai sees the actor and director with lots of experience in his bag going to ventilation. The veteran director, actor Joy Mukherjee was hospitalized to the Lilavati Hospital at Mumbai. His condition is very serious and thus he has been put on ventilation. The flamboyant actor, Joy Mukherjee, was born on February 24th of 1939. Joy Mukherjee gave his debut in the bollywood industry with a film named ‘Love in Shimla’ at 1960. The film was one of the hit films of that time. Normally everyone recalls the picture of the handsome man, Joy Mukherjee, when we get to hear the song called ‘Bade Miyan Dewane’.
The veteran actor has given many hit films in his career. Some of them are Love in Tokyo, iddi, Bahu Beti, Ek Musafir Ek Hasina, Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon. Others like Puraskar, Ishaara, Hum Hindustani and Chailla Babu, Shagird were also very successful in the bollywood film industry. The spokesperson, R. R. Pathak reported that the actor-director was admitted at the Lilavati hospital at around 10:30 am in the morning. He also said that Joy was not going well for a long period of time. He is the paternal uncle of the gorgeous actress Kajol and Tanisha.
