SRK, Imran Khan turn brothers for Vettai’s Hindi remake
Mumbai: The dynamic Bollywood director Siddhartha Roy articulated to the media people that it is really too early to make any comments on this issue as noting yet finalized. The comments were concerning to his planned new remake from a Tamil smash hit Vettai in Hindi version. The director could only say that remaking of UTV Tamil production Vettai has been finalized and if his prediction is correct, the remake is going to hit the bull’s eye.
By the way, the Tamil blockbuster was a UTV motion picture production and seeing its overwhelming response the director got inspired for remaking of the film in Hindi. The blue print is to take Shahrukh Khan and Imran Khan in the brothers’ role. They will be acting in the role of Mahadhavan and Arya respectively while Shahrukh is not very much comfortable with typical Tamil role of Mahadhavan. The source informs that one of the brothers would be peace loving while the other will be a ruffian.
When the director was enquired about his preference for selecting these two Bollywood actors he said smilingly that UTV made a huge profit out of this film. Since Shahrukh Khan and Imran Khan has not yet acted as a pair in any movie nor both of them made any Tamil film so their acceptance will be better.
