New Delhi: For the admirers of Amir Khan, it is shocking news as the releasing date of the much awaited film “Dhoom 3 “has been postponed to 2013.The film was the sequel of the one of the biggest blockbusters of bollywood “Dhoom” 1 and 2 and whose rights have been controlled by one of the mughals of filmdom i.e. The Chopras -Yashraj and Aditya.
The film is slated to go on floors in December and it would take another 11 or 12 months for an intense shooting and after that it would take some more time for the post productions. So, it is impossible to keep up the previously decided date of Christmas release of 2012 and after great deliberations among the director Vijay Krishna Acharya and Aditya Chopra and staff, it was decided to postpone the release up to year 2013.
Amir Khan is in the lead of the film in place of previous actor Hritik, but Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra who were very much appreciated in their roles of policemen in its previous avatars, will repeat the cast. Katarina Kaif is in female lead. By postponing the release the film has coincidently avoided the clash with the release of “Dabaang 2 “which is slated to be released on December 2012.
