Amitabh, Rishi back together in Mehrunissa
Mumbai: Good old days are back again with Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor planning to work together after a long gap of twenty eight years in a movie named ‘Mehrunissa’ going to be done by Sudhir Mishra. These two great actors had last worked together in the movie ‘Coolie’ directed by Manmohan Desai in the year 1983. Interestingly, one surprising thing about the movie is Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor will be playing the young role of their fathers respectively.
Sources state in the year 1996 the script of this movie was already thought of by Sudhir Mishra. Due to reasons, it did not happen then. Sudhir Mishra’s assistant those days was Nikhil Advani who approached Sudhir Mishra if they could rework on the same script now. Saurabh Shukla wrote the dialogues of the movie.
Giving a glimpse of the storyline, sources say that the movie begins with two men during their old age days remember about their teen-age life. The teen-age boys are none other than Abhishek and Ranbir. They are actually the youngster version of their fathers.
However, Nikhil wanted to bring this film on the big screen this year. Being occupied by other projects Abhishek and Ranbir will not be able to complete this movie now. The movie is set to be on the floors by next year.
