Farah Khan talks about her acting debut in ‘Shirin Farhad’
New Delhi: Famous Choreographer and film director Farah Khan, who has directed the blockbusters like “Main Hoon Na” “Om Shanti Om” is going to make her debut in acting in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie “Shirin Farhad”. The very excited director remarked that being an actress is all together a kind of different experience and it is not so stressful work compared to directing a movie.
The Choreographer turned director also stated that it is very stressful when you are behind the camera as a director and producer of any movie and everything is going out of your pocket and you are worried and when you are in front of camera, just doing a role, it is simple because you are doing a joband you don’t have to worry about money or anything that will be spent on this project.
She will play a lead character in this Bhansali’s home production which will be directed by her sister Bela.
Farha also remarked that this is a kind of different experience which she has never gained before. People always call her by her name everywhere when she is choreographing or directing a movie or judging a reality show but in the movie people will seeher in a new avatar and Farah’s character has been given a new name Shirin Fulawala. She also remarked that this is really very good to gain a different experience at this stage of age.
In this movie she will share screen space along with actor Boman Irani who will playher husband’s role and this movie is based on love story of a Parsi couple.
