Bheja Fry 2 Review

June
Cast: Vinay Pathak, Kay Kay Menon, Minissha Lamba, Suresh Menon, Amole Gupte; Director: Sagar Ballary; Rating: 3.5 out of 5.
Four years after Bheja Fry directed by Sagar Ballary becamea roaring success comes its sequel. Originally scheduled for release in April, Bheja Fry-2 will hit the screens on 17th June. Contrary to the prequel about which there were never any high hopes, the sequel comes in midst of a load of expectations.
Vinay Pathak plays the role of the affable but annoying simpleton Bharat Bhushan. He wins a cruise trip in a television show titled “Aao Guess Karein” – a cross breed of Dus ka Damand Kaun Banega Crorepati shows. He rubs his shoulders with a devious businessman Ajit Talwar (Kay Kay Menon) on the cruise who is evading Income Tax officials. What follows is a comedy of errors as Ajit mistake sour own irritable simpleton to be the Tax official who is out to get him.
After a series of flip-flops Ajit and Bharat Bhushan find themselves on a secluded island. While the situation is very comical for the audience as Bharat Bhushan churns out a situational song for every conceivable occasion, the recluse business man Ajay finds him a thorn in the flesh.
Ishq Bector and Sneha Khan walkar dole out the music for the film while Minissha Lamba as Ranjini lights up the movie with her presence. Have a happy laugh to put asidethe monsoon woes.
