Aamir Khan ducks IPL bouncer
Kolkatta: After sweeping a Crore of Rupees in “Ke Hobey Banglar Kotipati” hosted by former Indian Cricket Captain Saurav Ganguly at Kolkatta recently, star actor Aamir Khan, who turned up to the show with his wife Kiran Rao, has denied that he has an eye on acquiring an Indian Premier League (IPL) team.
He also denied of appearing on the Small Screen despite a plethora of offers being bowled to him. Aamir said that he belongs to the film field and has no interest in the cricket field beyond being an ardent spectator of the game. May be Kiran will do something in Bengali, though for the present, she was not clear what it would be.
When asked about how he batted the bouncers bowled by Saurav Ganguly in the game-show, Aamir said he had the support of a replete of alternatives for the question which made his job easy.
Though aided by his wife Kiran Rao, Aamir had to literally scratch his head for answers to few of the questions. He lauded Dada (Saurav) and wife Kiran for helping him in overcoming the language barriare but hastened to add that as the show progressed he felt at home and was aware of the way the show was going.
