Ragini MMS Review
Cast: Kainaaz Motiwala, Raj Kumar Yadav; Director: Pavan Kriplani; Rating: 3.5 out of 5.
Much awaited and hyped movie RAGINI MMS is finally released. This much awaited film which created a buzz didn’t live up to the expection. It could have been better.
The story goes like one couple that is Ragini (Kainaz Motivala) and Uday (Raj Kumar Yadav), goes out for a dirty weekend at a friend’s farmhouse on the outskirts of Mumbai. The much-in-love and passionate weekend in no time changes to the most horrible experience ever. The place itself gives the negative vibes. The whole house is fixed with camera in Bigg Boss way. Later the much in love couple goes intimate during that they feels something is around them.
The couple hears something that is beyond the limitations of human understanding, something metaphysical. The couple Ragini and Uday is now at the mercy of that paranormal force. The lead actor dies much before the end of the movie and then the actress who is locked by the actor gets stuck in the house and shuts for the help.
The film was promoted by saying that it has a paranormal activities but the concept of paranormal was not clear, may be Ekta itself was not clear with the concept of paranormal. The first half was better than second. The sound effects were the plus point because it was truly nice and scary. This is for the second time Ekta has made a horror film after KRISHNA COTTAGE. There were no much intimate scence as the way it was said.
The film was short and there were certain scene which could have been better. The end of the movie was however not that clear, it just went to the flash back and showed why did Uday wanted the sex clip with Ragini. The film was captured in handy cam as that of LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA.
The star cast was good; Raj Kumar Yadav (who was also seen in LOVE SEX AUR DHOKHA) and Kainaz Motivala are gave an outstanding performance. The love making scene also looked very real and attractive.
On the whole we can say that sound effect was good and the screenplay was also good. It was a fair attempt by Ekta. All we can say it’s an average film. Go get thrilled!
