Ranbir-Priyanka’s Anjaana Anjaani release postponed
The makers of Ranbir Kapoor-Priyanka Chopra starrer ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ have postponed the film’s release by one week, as it was earlier reported that producer Sajid Nadiadwala may consider shifting the release following verdict on Babri Masjid.
‘Anjaana Anjaani’ will now hit the theatres along with Rajnikanth-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer ‘Robot’ on October 1.
Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra appealed to the makers of the film to postpone it, citing the highly anticipated decision on Babri Masjid by Allahabad High Court.
Actor Ranbir Kapoor said, “September 24 is an important day for the country because of the Ayodhya judgment. All our energies should be concentrated towards sending positive vibes so that peace and harmony are maintained in the country. I hope there is no dispute and the decision is favourable to all.”
The film is directed by Siddharth Anand.
