Salman Khan Big BossThe ‘macho man’ of Bollywood, Salman Khan, will host the fourth season of popular celebrity reality show “Bigg Boss”.

Ending all speculations, on Tuesday night, it was announced that Salman will be the latest addition to the list of celeb-anchors on ‘Bigg Boss’.

Sallu also confirmed his participation in the show on micro-blogging site Twitter.

“Doing bigg bossssssssssssssssssssssss! boss,” Salman tweeted at beingsalmankhan.

Actor Arshad Warsi has hosted the first season, followed by Shilpa Shetty in the second season. Amitabh Bachchan hosted the third edition of the show.

According to reports, organizers of the show wanted to have Big B back for the fourth edition as well, but he did not agree to participate and will be seen anchoring ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 4′ (KBC 4) soon.

If media reports are to be believed, earlier, it was rumored that the fourth season of the Indian version of the popular British reality
show ‘Big Brother’ will be either hosted by Shah Rukh Khan or ‘Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar.

But, now with Salman finally stepping into the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan, it will be interesting to see how he fits himself in his new avatar, specially at the moment when his movies have failed to make a mark at the box office in recent times.

However,,anchoring television show is nothing new for ‘Sallu bhai’ as he had earlier hosted a game show ‘Dus Ka Dum’ for Sony TV.

Colors TV will air the ‘Bigg Boss 4′, while ‘KBC’ will be telecast on the Sony Entertainment Channel where the first edition of ‘Big Boss’ was shown.
