Who’s jealous by Akshay Kumar’s success?

It was celebration time for the Singh Is Kinng team recently. After all, it’s been just a few days since the release and it’s already getting rave reviews. People have loved and appreciated Akshay Kumar’s role as well. However, according to the grapevine, there are many in the industry, especially some established actors, who have not taken to Akki’s success too kindly.
Apparently, there is some ‘superstar’ Khan who has questioned his success. He has been telling top directors and producer that Akshay is exaggerating box-office reports of his films. Even Akshay has been aware of these rumours and this is what he had to say: “People need to understand that Bollywood is just one group. They shouldn’t malign an actor’s name like this. Even if an actor gets 3-4 successful films, there are so many more that the rest of them can be a part of. Spreading rumours is just not worth it.”
Vipul Shah, who was also present at the do, looked jubilant. He said, “It’s awkward to state numbers but in the first three days of its release, the all-India gross collection has been 45 crore. It is historical and has broken all records. Overall, it has been unbelievable.”
Other stars of the film like Neha Dhupia and Sonu Sood had similar sentiments to share. Both actors have not had a successful project in the recent past. Hence, the film’s victory is bound to make them feel good. From the Bollywood fraternity, Anupam Kher, Shabana Azmi, Gulzar, Wasim Akram, Kunal Kohli, Jaspal Bhatti, Prasoon Joshi, Aadesh Shrivastava and Ramesh Sippy were present to join team Singh Is Kinng in their celebration. However, lead actress Katrina Kaif was conspicuous by her absence as she was busy shooting in America.

1. RostumSRK is of course jealous of Akshay’s success. He shouldn’t only be jealous, he should be scared, really scared because finally someone else has taken over the Bollywood King spot.
