Don Muthuswami Review
Watch this don and you will learn to forgive all those filmmakers who served you the choicest of trash week after week.
Blank. That’s the state of your mind after being subjected to the blah of this south Indian don in dhoti.
The film is an encore to Mithun Chakraborty’s harmless Agneepath antics, but Muthuswami scales the Everest of irritation in no time.
Forced to leave don-giri by his dying father, Mithun tries to be ‘Sir Muthuswami’. The Hindi lessons and the ayyo-murugas that follow make you run for dear life. Have mercy Mithunda!
Hrishita Bhatt needs immediate admission to some acting school. The lady howls, shouts, cries and what not in her avatar as a pea-brained brat.
And Shakti Kapoor makes a desperate attempt to stay on screen, either to receive a kick on the rear by Mithun, or to misplace a black bag (which appears to be the hero of the script).
Son Mimoh was burnt beyond recognition in box-office ire some weeks ago. Now it’s Mithun’s turn.
