Aditya Chopra set to re-create Big B and SRK Magic?
The media’s constant attempts to decipher the love-hate relationship between two of the country’s biggest film stars might not have been very successful. Bringing them together on the silver screen, after years of dodging each other off it, is the dynamic Aditya Chopra. Film circles are abuzz with news of the junior Chopra’s upcoming Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, featuring Amitabh Bachchan in a key role.
The film is said to be based on the love story of a 40-year-old man (played by Khan) and a young girl. The father of the girl is reportedly played by Amitabh in the film, giving it a very Mohabbatein-like feel. And as if the chemistry shared by the two megastars wasn’t enough, Rab Ne will also feature a cameo by the stunning Deepika Padukone and a sensuous item number by Rani Mukerji, another Yash Raj favourite. Set to hit screens on December 12 this year, the project is poised to make up for all the losses the banner’s been incurring of late.
