Vivek oberoi and Sunil Shetty on Mission Istanbul

Suniel Shetty’s production Mission Istanbul is being touted as one of 2008’s most anticipated releases. Shot at exotic locations, it boasts a star cast similar to that of Shootout At Lokhandwala., including Vivek Oberoi, Zayed Khan and Shabbir Ahluwalia. Abhishek Bachchan is also to do a cameo in the film supposedly based on journalism and terrorism.

That may explain the lack of a strong female lead. Apparently, Vivek and Zayed performed their own stunts. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, much of the shooting took place in Turkey. While language was obviously a barrier and the weather wasn’t too pleasant, the actors were fascinated by the place. They tell us more.
