Now, SRK wants to make a children’s film
After Aamir Khan, it is King Khan who is set to make a children’s film. Shah Rukh made a mention of his big-budget film at the 58th Berlin International Film Festival. The buzz is he has invested 98 crore in the project, which will be replete with high-end visual effects.
According to sources, Shah Rukh may even feature in the film. SRK is in talks with Hollywood’s famous visual effects artiste Charles Darby of The Matrix and the Harry Potter films fame. Anubhav Sinha, director of the forgettable Cash, will direct the yet untitled film.
The film involves a bunch of kids who long for adventure and subsequently wish for evil things. The conflict arises when a string of evil incidents actually unfold in their lives. Let’s just hope the success of Taare Zameen Par doesn’t lead to Bollywood’s over-indulgence in churning out kiddie cinema.
